My Story

My name is Rachael Harrison. I've always loved art since I was little, mushing paint around on plain paper. My journey started with traditional art. Eager to get better at it I drew and painted nearly everyday in high school, and surrounded myself with friends and family who were interested as well. I drew from my love of anime and Japanese culture references and painted everyday nature inspired by the late Bob Ross. Nearing college, art was always a career choice but I was deflated by the "starving artist" concept and it's stability. while trying nursing school, I soon realize where i needed to place my passion, I was given an iPad and an inspiring talk to follow my dreams, that's where everything started with digital art. I soon moved to Orlando Florida and decided to major in digital art and design where Full Sail welcomed me and gave me the tools and the professional knowledge of how I could use digital art to take direction over my life to succeed. As of today I am now a mother of one, grateful for all the client opportunities i've had and looking forward to as a freelance designer.
